Grade ratification is essential for progress and recognition within martial arts and the Black Belt Academy is an acclaimed gateway to global accreditation and authenticity. It is the approved BCKMA National Centre by both EDEXCEL-BTEC and OCR-RSA (Centre No 50141)

Having proper credentials and accreditation are the fundamental principles of what constitutes recognition within martial arts. Without proper recognition it is sometimes difficult to gain acceptance amid concerns of an increase in the emergance of self-proclaimed Masters and Grandmasters who sometimes have no qualifications and very limited martial arts experience.

WORLD IL-DO-KWAN FEDERATION

The World Ildokwan Federation is a multi-style organisation with members in 38 countries and provides rank accredtitation, promotion and certification as a global authority. The Black Belt Academy is the sole issuing agency for this organistion in Europe including the UK.

Master Davies is the current International President of the World Ildokwan Federation having been inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame as World Taekwondo Master of the Year (1999). He has also been bestowed with honourary international 'Doctorate' , 'Professorship' and lifetime achievement Awards.

KUKKIWON WORLD TAEKWONDO HQ

The Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Headquarters is the sole international issuing Dan grade authority for WTF style Taekwondo and will only accept applications for rank from approved recommenders. Master Davies is one of the highest ranked British Born examiners approved to test and recommend for Kukkiwon World Taekwondo certification and submit applications up to and including 6th Dan. Registration with Kukkiwon is essential for all exponents of WTF style Taekwondo.

Standard Kukkiwon rates apply plus UK test fee.

Promotion testing is conducted in accordance with international rules and requirements and recommendations for promotion will be submitted to international bodies for successful candidates.

The Black Belt Academy reserves the right to scrutinise, accept or reject any applications for ratification or promotion, based on evidence and/or performance.
